Dr. Elizabeth M. Trinidad is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in spine and interventional pain treatments. She has been in neurosurgical private practice since 2015 and holds an active Arizona medical license.
Her neurosurgical training spans SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn and the University of Texas, where she served as Chief Resident in the Department of Neurosurgery at UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, followed by a pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at the University of Colorado / The Children’s Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Medicine at UT Health Science Center at San Antonio and an MBA from Adelphi University.
Dr. Trinidad served for three decades in the United States Army Reserves, retiring at the rank of Colonel, and was Chief of Neurosurgery at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, directing neurosurgical care of service members, dependents, and civilians across Europe. She has also practiced general and pediatric neurosurgery with a private multispecialty group in New York, where she helped develop epilepsy centers at Winthrop University Hospital and St. Charles Hospital.
Alongside clinical practice, she has been principal investigator and coordinator on clinical trials in head injury, Chiari I malformation, and pediatric brain tumors, and has published on spinal and cranial trauma, Chiari I malformation, and stereotactic radiosurgery for recurrent ependymoma.
